EQ8

Join Elenore for an in-depth introduction to Electric Quilt – the electronic quilt design software used by so many. This course will cover all the basic features of EQ8, including three worktables - Quilt, Block, and Image. By the end of the course students will be able to draw simple blocks, import images, and use these blocks and images to design quilts. Students will start by sharing how they intend to use EQ8 in their quilting, what their current skill level of EQ8 is, and what they hope to learn in the class. The format of the class will incorporate these goals of the students, providing demonstration and explanation of concepts, as well as provide exercises. Date: Saturday, October 28; 2:00-5:00pm Image Worktable Fabric Library and importing fabric images Assignment – design a quilt with your choice of fabrics

Date: Saturday, November 25, 1:00-4:30pm Advanced Block design – Advanced Quilt design Assignment – design a block with the advanced features, and then incorporate into a quilt
