Michelle is a 1930s floral that was developed from a design in the archive dated 1933, by the same artist who created Betsy and Wiltshire – two iconic Liberty Fabrics designs. This type of floral is quintessentially Liberty London, and works beautifully on the crisp fine quality of  Tana Lawn.

For the classical story, the Liberty Fabrics team selected the prints that have become paradigms of particular styles of Liberty London prints. Tana Lawn cotton has a unique print quality and colour absorption that is second to none, with a  distinctive hand-feel and translucent softness that ensures it remains a versatile favourite.
