Hi! I am Lesley Foy. Thanks to the support of some amazing women, I started my quilting journey when I was 14. Inspired by my grandmother, my home economics teacher helped me design a quilt, and let me borrow her sewing machine. After being taught to hand quilt by my aunts and grandmother I finished this quilt shortly after starting it. I have had a keen interest in quilting ever since. As life continued and seemingly got busier, I had to find new methods of quilting/sewing, which led me to hand sewing. I am an avid hand sewer/quilter, from applique, quilting, hand-piecing to english paper piecing. Sewing by hand provides a valuable creative outlet, but I also find it very meditative and relaxing.

I look forward to inspiring other like-minded individuals to the art of sewing by hand and look forward to growing our skills together.
