Moths navigate using the moon and the stars, taste with their feet, smell with their antennae and hear sounds through their wings. The Moth, a Foundation Paper Pieced (FPP) quilt pattern, celebrates these extraordinary diverse creatures. They out number butterflies by 10 to 1, and are often over looked as simply being drab, brown nocturnal pests.
