Liberty of London Tana Lawn Collection Spring/Summer 2021 Taking inspiration from the sun-bleached days of high summer, Daylight Dapple captures a canopy of overlapping tropical leaves formed into a dense camouflage of pattern and colour. Shadows and highlights from tissue paper layering create an illusion of depth, for a dreamlike aesthetic. 100% Tana Lawn long staple Egyptian Cotton 54" wide Liberty Fabrics experts have fine tuned the process of making Tana Lawn Cottons for over 100 years. It is truly the finest printed cotton available. Wash warm water, line dry.
Tessa is a classic Liberty Fabrics paisley with very fine detailed line work. The original design was taken from our archive, where we have a huge selection of paisley style designs dating back to the 19th century. This particular one has also been developed as part of our scarf collection for the store. The paisley design is associated with Liberty Fabrics because of its historic links with the East. Paisley style designs originally came from Kashmir to Europe in the late 18th century. Shawl designs were created for the European market during the 19th century in various places, including Paisley in Scotland.
Not only did Linda do a great job testing my pattern and helping me get the endless details correct, but she did all of it with the best attitude. It is refreshing to work with someone who is friendly, positive and as excited about quilt making as I am! I cannot wait to work with her again!
