Worn & Washed

As part of the “shabby chic” generation, Kim Porter has combined her love of washed, worn, and vintage fabrics with patchwork, to create beautiful and easy quilt projects. Use a curated kit of washed and worn fabrics (directly from Kim Porter), combined with your own favorites – or use fabrics from your stash – to learn simple techniques for easy projects. Create a simple and traditional irregular log cabin cushion or get started on an “offset brick” pattern quilt. In this 1-day workshop class, you will learn how to work with delicate fabrics, precise piecing and pressing, as well as learn big stitch quilting methods.
